On Enterprise Stories this week, we feature Frank Adekunle Macaulay, a pilot turned film maker. Frank Adekunle Macaulay is the MD/CEO of FMA Productions Nigeria Limited - a Movie, TV and Digital Media Production company based in Lagos. After his training at the Nigeria Civil Aviation Training Centre in Zaria, Frank practiced as a pilot for eight years before the airline folded up. This prompted him to relocate to London with the expectation to continue flying, but this never happened. While in the UK, Frank got into acting as a hobby but ended up at Anna Scher Theatre School in London where he was trained as an Improv Actor. With the training, Frank learnt all about cinematography and before you knew it, he started a production company in London. Spotting the huge opportunity in the Nigeria Movie Industry, Frank decided to return to the country in 2008, where he built an Innovative Studio - Creative Hub in Magodo, Lagos and immediately swung into the production of movies and documentaries. Today, Frank Adekunle Macaulay has a number of film productions to his credit and currently trains movie makers.
