Enterprise Stories

Anthonia Ojenagbon (Silton African Kitchen)

On Enterprise Stories this week, from making hats to serving the President of Nigeria her Peppered Snails. Anthonia Ojenagbon’s entrepreneurial journey started in 2006, she was making hats for special occasions for ladies, a business she ventured after attending training on how to design and make quality hats. Anthonia felt she was on the right track and figured it was only a matter of time before she made the big break making hats. In 2009, she attended the Entrepreneurial Management Program of EDC, the program made her do a complete turnaround of her business choice. The 360 degree turn led to following her passion for cooking and this was how Silton African Kitchen was born. Since starting the kitchen, she has made many wonderful strides among which include winning a grant on the Federal government Youwin program, selection on the Tony Elumelu Foundation Program and receipt of $5000 grant and setting up her restaurant. Anthonia has achieved a lot for her business but not without some challenges. Tune in to Inspiration 92.3 FM this Tuesday, August 11,2015 to listen to the story of the Snail woman
