How do you measure success or achieve fulfillment in life? This week we feature the story of Adegboyega Adesida, CEO Charm Horizon International Farms Ltd. He started his own farm business after working in both private and public agro sectors of Nigeria. Gboyega graduated from Olabisi Onobanjo University where he studied Animal production & Health in 2003, he emerged as 2nd best corper in 2004 in Jos where he served. This got him employment offer at the Federal College for Animal Health and Production Technology and by the state government. He also worked for Animal Care Konsult in Ibadan for some time. However, Gboyega didn’t feel fulfilled and so wanted to explore the 3rd option which was, to start his own business. Gboyega believed he could add value to the agriculture sector with his experience and knowledge; he set up Charm Horizon International Farms, growing staples & vegetables on a large scale and supplying them to hotels, restaurant & grocery stores. He has his first physical store in the highbrow Banana Island, Ikoyi. He currently employs 16 people and is in partnership with National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to expose other young graduates to agriculture.
