This week on Enterprise Stories, we feature the story of Mrs. Olutele Ogundipe, the founder of Food Convee - a food packaging company based in Lagos. Tele is a graduate of Agriculture from Obafemi Awolowo University. As a Plant Science major she has always been concerned about the poor food handling processes in open markets and the stress involved in cooking traditional meals. Having worked as a manager in Wimpy International fast food restaurant chain in London, she was exposed to high quality food processing practices, this coupled with the fact that her mother, a British trained nurse, always ensured that cooking was done under strict hygienic conditions, led to the birth of Food Convee. Tele opened Food Convee shop in 2008 with help from her family and friends, and hasn’t looked back since then. Plant Science, Raw food packaging and a handshake with the President, tune in to Inspiration 92.3 FM or log on to edcradioonline.com this Tuesday at 3pm to connect the dots.
